Analysis of Rock Videos 1

There are many shot types, camera angles and camera movements used in this music video.  These include close-ups, long shots, pans and high angled shots.  We are first shown the band riding motor bikes with close-ups of each band members bike.  This shows that the band are rock like because of the use of motor bikes with a black and white effect on the camera.
In the opening of the video the band members are wearing biker clothing, so they fit in with the stereotypical view of a biker.  They later change into more rock clothing, wearing studded belts and waistcoats.
The editing of the video is relatively fast paced which matches the pace of the music.  As the video develops the pace of the editing increases cutting from different shots more frequently to give the audience a feel of a party.
Not many locations are used in this video, only a party room and an empty road at the beginning.
Throughout the video the band are performing to their audience, they use lip syncing and also include performances with their instruments to show each individual member.
